Does birth control pills have any effect on AB-Resp Tablet?::: If you are taking birth control pills, dose of AB-Resp Tablet need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of AB-Resp Tablet, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.| How should AB-Resp Tablet be taken?::: AB-Resp Tablet should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. To avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food. | Is it okay to take furosemide along with AB-Resp Tablet?::: One should take proper caution if you are taking furosemide along with AB-Resp Tablet. This is because the combined use of these medicines may decrease the levels of potassium. Hence, regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.| When should AB-Resp Tablet be avoided?::: AB-Resp Tablet should be avoided in patients who are allergic to ambroxol, AB-Resp Tablet, or theophylline.
