Agward-O Dry Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Agward-O Dry Syrup is recommended.However, consult with your child’s doctor before giving Agward-O Dry Syrup to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Agward-O Dry Syrup is to be taken with food.:

Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give the double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.:

What if I give too much of Agward-O Dry Syrup by mistake?::: An extra dose of Agward-O Dry Syrup is unlikely to do harm. However, you must still be vigilant because overdoses may cause unwanted side effects and may even worsen your child’s condition. If you think you have given too much of Agward-O Dry Syrup to your child, speak to a doctor immediately.| Are there any possible serious side effects of Agward-O Dry Syrup?::: Some serious side effects of this medicine include persistent vomiting, kidney damage, allergy, diarrhea, and severe gastrointestinal infections. Always consult your child’s doctor for help in such a situation.| Can other medicines be given at the same time as Agward-O Dry Syrup?::: Agward-O Dry Syrup can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. Tell your doctor about any other medicines your child is taking before starting Agward-O Dry Syrup. Also, check with your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.| Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Agward-O Dry Syrup?::: Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.| Can Agward-O Dry Syrup impact my child’s digestion?::: Children often have a sensitive stomach and develop a stomach upset while taking antibiotics. When antibiotics are given, the medicine may kill off the good bacteria along with the bad ones, increasing the risk of developing other infections. In case your child is having diarrhea while on Agward-O Dry Syrup, do not stop the medicine course. Instead, call your child’s doctor to ask about the next steps. In some cases, the doctor may alter the dose.| Can Agward-O Dry Syrup lead to bacterial resistance in my child?::: Yes, the infection-causing bacteria can become resistant to Agward-O Dry Syrup because of irregular dosing, unrequired repeated use, and misuse of Agward-O Dry Syrup can lead to resistance. Resistant bacteria are no longer killed by the antibiotics and may lead to reinfection.| What should I tell the doctor before giving Agward-O Dry Syrup to my child?::: Inform the doctor if your child is suffering from heart disease, genetic disorders involving blood vessels, seizures, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, photoallergy (allergy from sunlight), neuromuscular disorders, or rheumatoid arthritis. This is because there is a possibility that Agward-O Dry Syrup may aggravate these conditions and result in complications.:

Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) while ofloxacin directly interacts with the genetic material of bacteria. Agward-O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections that may affect your child’s eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bone and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It can also be used in treating typhoid fever in children and adolescents. Give Agward-O Dry Syrup to your child orally, preferably at a fixed time, either before or after meals. In case your child develops a stomach upset, prefer giving it with meals. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, your child’s age, and body weight, so stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double dose if it’s time for the next dose.Do not give this medicine to your child in case of cold and flu symptoms. Such symptoms are almost always a result of viral infections, and antibiotics are ineffective in killing viruses. Antibiotics are given in cough and flu symptoms only when the doctor detects any underlying secondary bacterial infection.This medicine may have some minor and temporary side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and allergy. These side effects will disappear once your child’s body adapts to the medicine.
