Agyfen-TH Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Agyfen-TH Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Agyfen-TH Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Agyfen-TH Tablet is to be taken with food.:

If you miss a dose of Agyfen-TH Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

What is Agyfen-TH Tablet?::: Agyfen-TH Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Thiocolchicoside. This medication helps in relieving muscle pain. It relaxes the muscles by acting on the central nervous system and lowering chemical substance in the body that cause pain and inflammation.| Is it safe to use Agyfen-TH Tablet?::: Yes, Agyfen-TH Tablet is safe for most of the patients. However, in some patients it may cause some common unwanted side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn, diarrhoea and other uncommon and rare side effects. Inform your doctor if you experience any persistent problem due to the medication.| Can the Agyfen-TH Tablet be stopped when my pain is relieved?::: Agyfen-TH Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when the pain is relieved. However, Agyfen-TH Tablet should be continued if your doctor has advised you to do so.| Can the use of Agyfen-TH Tablet cause dizziness?::: Yes, the use of Agyfen-TH Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.| Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Agyfen-TH Tablet?::: The use of Agyfen-TH Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcer or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.| Can Agyfen-TH Tablet be taken with Vitamin B-complex?::: Yes, Agyfen-TH Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Agyfen-TH Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.| Can the use of Agyfen-TH Tablet cause damage to kidneys?::: Yes, the long-term use of Agyfen-TH Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body which leads to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended in patients with underlying kidney disease.| Will Agyfen-TH Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?::: No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.:

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.:

Agyfen-TH Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms. Agyfen-TH Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, and liver. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking.
