Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Albetin A Oral Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.:
Do not panic. The missed dose can be given as soon as you remember it. However, skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose or if your child’s doctor has advised doing so. Do not give a double dose and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.:

How can I know that my child is having a worm infection?::: It could be worm infection if your child complains of an itchy bottom (rectal area), difficulty sitting, fatigue, restless sleep due to anal itching, and persistent stomach pain with loss of appetite or frequent indigestion. Albetin A Oral Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, thereby treating your child’s infection effectively.:

Albetin A Oral Suspension is an anti-worm medicine given to treat a multitude of parasitic worm infestations such as roundworm and tapeworm infections in children. It works by paralyzing and restraining the worms from absorbing the body’s energy, leading to their eventual death. Give Albetin A Oral Suspension to your child by mouth, preferably with a fat-containing food such as milk. This will help your child’s body absorb this medicine better. In case your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking Albetin A Oral Suspension, give the same dose again. Do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose. The duration of the treatment will depend on the type of worm your child is infected with.Usually, it is given as a single dose. Your child’s doctor may prescribe repeating this dose after two weeks to prevent re-infection. However, some specific types of infections may require you to give this medicine to your child for a few days to weeks. In such a case, you must give this medicine for the exact prescribed number of days as stopping it too soon may cause re-infection.Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, flatulence, loss of appetite, hair fall, mild fever, and sore throat are some of the common yet temporary side effects of this medicine.
