Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup is recommended.However, dose adjustments are required in severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before giving Cetirizine to your child in case of severe liver disease.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Can I give Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup?::: No, although this medicine causes drowsiness as a side effect, it should not be given to induce sleep in children. It also relieves similar symptoms caused due to allergies to substances, such as dust mites, animal dander, and mold. It is also used to treat symptoms of hives, including itching and rash.| How long does it take for Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup to work?::: You will notice an improvement within an hour of taking Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup. However, it may take a little longer to notice the full benefits.| Can I take Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup and Fexofenadine together?::: Sometimes the doctor may advise you to take two different antihistamines together if you are being treated for a severe itchy rash. Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup is given to children to treat various symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching associated with allergic conditions like hay fever, urticaria (hives), conjunctivitis (red, itchy eye), and common cold. Give this medicine to your child orally with or without food in the dose, time, and way prescribed by your child’s doctor. It could either be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. The allergic symptoms may subside after your child has taken the initial few doses of Alcet 5mg/5ml Syrup. In case of serious allergic conditions, your child may have to continue taking the medicine for a week or two. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, repeat the same dose after your child feels better. But, refrain from doing so if it is already time for the next dose.Your child may experience mild side effects like nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness, sleepiness, and headache after taking this medicine. These symptoms are usually non-serious and disappear on their own.
