Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet is recommended.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.:

The addition of probiotics helps reduce the side effects, such as diarrhea, which can occur due to the prolonged intake of antibiotics.| Can I give Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet to my child repeatedly for a long time?::: Giving your child Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet for a long-term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). Therefore, do not alter the dose and duration on your own and give Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet to your child exactly as prescribed. Additionally, irregular treatment, repeated use, and misuse of Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet can make the bacteria resistant.| Are there any possible serious side effects of Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet?::: Although rare, Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet may cause some serious side effects such as persistent vomiting, kidney damage, allergy, diarrhea, and severe gastrointestinal infections. Always consult your child’s doctor for help in such a situation.| Can other medicines be given at the same time as Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet?::: Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet treats a wide range of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also treat infections caused by resistant bacteria. The presence of probiotics helps in reducing the chance of getting side effects like diarrhea. Give Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet either with or without food but it is best to give it with food if it upsets your child’s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose.Alkamox Plus 125mg/125mg Tablet can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash.
