When should Allitophyline Capsule be avoided?::: Allitophyline Capsule should be avoided in patients who are allergic to it. Along with that, patients suffering from low blood pressure, irregular heartbeats or rhythm, or a history of heart attack, liver disease, or kidney disorder should take Allitophyline Capsule with caution.| How should Allitophyline Capsule be taken?::: Allitophyline Capsule should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. It may be taken with food to avoid an upset stomach. | Is it okay to take furosemide along with Allitophyline Capsule?::: Proper caution should be exercised if furosemide is taken along with Allitophyline Capsule. The combined use of these medicines may decrease potassium levels, so regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.| Does birth control pills have any effect on Allitophyline Capsule?::: If you are taking birth control pills, the dose of Allitophyline Capsule needs to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with its clearance, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.:

Allitophyline Capsule is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.:

Allitophyline Capsule is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which airflow to the lung is blocked). It helps relax the muscles of the air passages, thus widening them and making them easier to breathe. Allitophyline Capsule can be taken with the food in the evening. Take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you take it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose. If missed, take it as soon as you remember, or skip the missed dose and continue with regular dosing if it’s almost time for the next dose. It does not work immediately or prevent the already-started breathing trouble; hence, always carry your medical inhaler for an emergency.The most common side effects of this medicine include abdominal discomfort, abdominal distension, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and heartburn. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Generally, it is advised not to consume alcohol or do not smoke while on treatment.Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart-related disease. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking, as many may make this medicine less effective or change its effect.
