Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Take this medication by mouth. Chew it completely before swallowing, or as directed by your doctor. Almont 5mg Chewable Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

Also, check with your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.| Can I decrease the dose of Almont 5mg Chewable Tablet by myself if my child starts to feel better?::: No, adhere to the dose as prescribed by your child’s doctor. Do not increase or decrease the dose by yourself as it can impact your child’s health. While increasing the dose may cause unwanted effects like sedation and depression, decreasing the dose or stopping it suddenly can result in a rebound reversal of all symptoms.| Can I stop the medicine by myself?::: No, all symptoms may reappear on sudden withdrawal of Almont 5mg Chewable Tablet usually if taken for a long-term. Almont 5mg Chewable Tablet is used to prevent asthma attacks in children. It may also be used to ease breathing difficulties caused by strenuous physical activities. This medicine also helps treat seasonal allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. Give Almont 5mg Chewable Tablet to your child at a fixed time before or after food in the prescribed dose, time, and way. You may need to give it to your child for a few weeks before it starts to prevent asthma attacks. For asthma, prefer giving Almont 5mg Chewable Tablet in the evening or 2 hours before physical activity. For allergy, it is best to give it in the evening, depending upon the time of onset of symptoms. In case your child has both, prefer giving it in the evening. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, give the same dose again, but skip it if it’s already time for the next dose.Your child may start to feel better after a few regular doses. However, you must still complete the prescribed dose to ensure maximum benefit. Moreover, stopping the medicine abruptly may worsen your child’s condition. This medicine may cause some minor and temporary side effects like fever, headache, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Usually, these episodes subside once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. However, in case these effects persist or start bothering your child, consult your child’s doctor without any delay.Let your child’s doctor know if your child is already taking any medicines.
