Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alorti-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:
If you miss a dose of Alorti-M Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

If you experience any problem due to Alorti-M Tablet, consult the doctor for re-evaluation.| Can the use of Alorti-M Tablet cause dry mouth?::: Yes, the use of Alorti-M Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.| What should be avoided while taking Alorti-M Tablet?::: Do not take it with any fruit juices including apple, orange or grapefruit, as they might make the drug less effective. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Alorti-M Tablet. Drinking alcohol will increase the severity of drowsiness or sleepiness caused by Alorti-M Tablet.| Will Alorti-M Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?::: No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can increase the risks of side effects. Alorti-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Desloratadine and Montelukast, which treats sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Desloratadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose, and improves symptoms.:

Alorti-M Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. Alorti-M Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, dryness in mouth, vomiting, skin rash, flu-like symptoms, fatigue, and headache. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.:
