It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria. Altifix AZ LB 200mg/250mg Tablet also restores the level of good bacteria in your stomach and thus prevents stomach upset due to the antibiotics. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed.
