It is also avoided in patients with a previous history of cholestatic jaundice/liver dysfunction associated with the medicine.| Which is the best time to take Alvoxy LB 500mg/125mg Tablet?::: Alvoxy LB 500mg/125mg Tablet may be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the dose prescribed by your doctor. Alvoxy LB 500mg/125mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.
