Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Ambril Drop is to be taken with food.:

Do not panic. Unless your doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next dose. Do not give the double dose and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.:

My child has a severe cough. Can I give him two cough medicines together?::: Do not give your child more than one cough or cold medicine at a time unless advised by your child’s doctor. Consult your child’s doctor right away in case you find you have given an extra amount of the medicine by mistake.| My child is having a cough with no mucus. Can I give Ambril Drop to him?::: No, Ambril Drop is advised for the treatment of wet cough. It aims to expel the mucus from the airway tract, thereby relieving your child from throat irritation, congestion and rendering him a soothing effect. Whereas, for a dry cough, cough suppressants are a better option. So, it will be wise if you ask your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.| How should Ambril Drop be stored?::: Ambril Drop should be stored at room temperature, in a dry place, away from direct heat and light. Also, keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children to avoid any mishap.:

Ambril Drop is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe, and lungs making it easier to cough out. Also, it relieves the pain and irritation due to sore and dry throat by rendering a soothing effect.:

Ambril Drop is a medicine that helps treat wet cough (cough with mucus) associated with an acute sore throat and asthma in children. It also relieves throat irritation, clears congestion, and enables easy breathing in your child. Give Ambril Drop to your child by mouth with or without food. If your child develops an upset stomach, prefer giving it with food. You may require to give this medicine to your child for a few days to weeks, depending upon the severity of the disease. For maximum benefit, do not stop the medication abruptly by yourself even if your child starts to feel better and continue the medicine until the full prescribed course. Also, do not give more than the prescribed dose for fast relief as it may cause unwanted effects and worsen your child’s condition.Some of the common side effects of this medicine include excessive salivation,  altered taste, dry mouth and throat, oral numbness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion, and skin rash. Usually, these episodes subside once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. However, if these effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to your child’s doctor immediately.Narrate your child’s complete medical history, including any previous episode of respiratory illness, allergy, heart-problem, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, sinus issues, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction.
