Amoxycillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.u003cbr>u003cbr>This combination medicine can be used in the prophylaxis of surgery associated bacterial infections such as gastrointestinal tract, pelvic cavity, head and neck, biliary tract surgery.
