If you miss a dose of AMPS-SD Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

Is AMPS-SD Tablet effective?::: AMPS-SD Tablet is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using AMPS-SD Tablet too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.| What is benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)?::: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is also known as prostate gland enlargement. It is a common condition in older men. BPH may cause symptoms like frequent or urgent need to urinate, increased frequency of urination at night (nocturia) and inability to completely empty the bladder.| Can the use of AMPS-SD Tablet cause dizziness?::: Yes, the use of AMPS-SD Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. These symptoms could be due to the presence of silodosin in the medicine. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.| Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of AMPS-SD Tablet?::: The use of AMPS-SD Tablet is considered to be harmful in patients who are allergic to any active or inactive ingredients of the medicine. Caution is advised in patients with underlying kidney or liver disease. If not sure, consult your doctor.| What are the instructions for storage and disposal of AMPS-SD Tablet?::: Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.| Is AMPS-SD Tablet safe?::: AMPS-SD Tablet is safe if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it exactly as directed and do not skip any dose. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and let your doctor know if any of the side effects bother you.| What is the best time to take AMPS-SD Tablet?::: It is best to take AMPS-SD Tablet after meals. The capsules should be swallowed whole; do not chew or split. Follow the doctor’s advice properly and do not miss the dose.:

AMPS-SD Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silodosin and Dutasteride, which relieves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate gland by decreasing the level of the hormone which helps the prostate gland grow.:

AMPS-SD Tablet is a combination of two medicines that work in different ways to treat men with an enlarged prostate gland. It helps to relieve symptoms such as difficulty urinating or needing to go to the toilet more often. It is not used to prevent prostate cancer. AMPS-SD Tablet should be taken at the same time each day. Take it as a whole, do not break, chew, or crush them. Your doctor will prescribe the dose most suitable for you. To gain the most benefit and treat your symptoms effectively you should not miss doses, even if you feel well. It may take up to 4 weeks to notice an improvement in symptoms but keep taking them regularly. Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks or if they get worse.The most common side effects of this medicine include decreased libido, inability to get an erection (impotence), breast tenderness, and enlargement of your breasts. If these effects worry you or do not go away, call your doctor for advice. You may also feel dizzy or drowsy. These risks are higher when you first start taking this drug. Remember, your doctor has given you this medicine because the benefits are greater than the risks of the side effects.This medicine should not be taken by women or children. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure or liver or kidney disease. This medicine may not be suitable. It can also affect, or be affected by, other drugs so let your doctor know all other medicines you are taking. You may be advised to wear a condom during sex and to have your blood pressure checked frequently. Talk to your healthcare team if you drink alcohol.:
