By accessing or using Medifast and placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use this website or purchase medicines.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Website information is for general information only and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any medicine.
3. Prescription Medicines
- A valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner is required for prescription medicines.
- Medifast may verify the prescription and may refuse or cancel an order if it is missing, invalid, illegible, expired or otherwise unacceptable.
- Uploading a prescription does not guarantee that an order will be accepted or fulfilled.
4. Orders, Availability and Payments
- Orders are subject to product availability, prescription verification where applicable and payment confirmation.
- The price, taxes, delivery charges and other mandatory fees shown at checkout apply to the order.
- Medifast may cancel an order when it cannot lawfully or safely be fulfilled. Any payment received for a cancelled order will be refunded.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Processing and delivery estimates are provided in the Shipping & Delivery Policy and during checkout. Delays may occur because of courier operations, weather, legal restrictions or other circumstances outside Medifast’s reasonable control.
6. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Damaged, incorrect, missing, expired or defective delivery issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Other eligible return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. All requests are governed by the Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate account, prescription, billing and delivery information and must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or use the service for an unlawful purpose.
8. Privacy
Personal and prescription information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Medifast is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated when necessary. The effective date displayed on this page identifies the current version.
