It provides relief from the symptoms and promotes healing. Acifight 40mg Tablet is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. It belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. What is Acifight 40mg Tablet used for?::: Acifight 40mg Tablet is used for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease, reflux esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Acifight 40mg Tablet prevents acidity associated with use of painkillers. It is also used to treat a disease associated with excessive acid production in the stomach known as Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES). It works by reducing the amount of acid made by your stomach and thus relieves your symptoms.| How long does it take for Acifight 40mg Tablet to work?::: You should start to feel better within 2 to 3 days. It may take up to 4 weeks for Acifight 40mg Tablet to work properly so you may still have some symptoms during this time.| Is a single dose of Acifight 40mg Tablet sufficient?::: No, a single dose may not be sufficient. However, with only a few doses of Acifight 40mg Tablet you may get relief with the symptoms. Acifight 40mg Tablet is usually needed only for a short term or upto 2 weeks for heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux.
