It provides relief from the symptoms and promotes healing. Aelpanta 40mg Tablet is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. It belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep on taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly. What is Aelpanta 40mg Tablet used for?::: Aelpanta 40mg Tablet is used for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease, reflux esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Aelpanta 40mg Tablet prevents acidity associated with use of painkillers. It is also used to treat a disease associated with excessive acid production in the stomach known as Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES). It works by reducing the amount of acid made by your stomach and thus relieves your symptoms.| How long does it take for Aelpanta 40mg Tablet to work?::: You should start to feel better within 2 to 3 days. It may take up to 4 weeks for Aelpanta 40mg Tablet to work properly so you may still have some symptoms during this time.| Is a single dose of Aelpanta 40mg Tablet sufficient?::: No, a single dose may not be sufficient. However, with only a few doses of Aelpanta 40mg Tablet you may get relief with the symptoms. Aelpanta 40mg Tablet is usually needed only for a short term or upto 2 weeks for heartburn, indigestion, acid reflux. However, if need arises, such as for treating peptic ulcer disease and Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES), Aelpanta 40mg Tablet may be prescribed for a long term duration as well. It is advised to be taken as directed by the doctor for maximum benefits.| Can I take Aelpanta 40mg Tablet for a long term?::: Aelpanta 40mg Tablet is usually prescribed for short-term use only.
