Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

If you miss a dose of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

Can I stop taking Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet when my pain is relieved?::: Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet, when used for long-term pain relief, should be continued for as long as advised by your physician. It can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.| Can the use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet cause dizziness?::: Yes, the use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.| Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet?::: The use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers (NSAIDS) or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer / bleeding It should also be avoided in patients with history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.| Can I take Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet with Vitamin B-complex?::: Yes, Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.| Can the use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet cause damage to kidneys?::: Yes, the long-term use of Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.| Will Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?::: No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective, rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.| What is the recommended storage condition for Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet?::: Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.:

Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.:

Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms. Akicox T 60mg/4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as precribed by the doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.Common side effects of this medicine include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and drowsiness. If any of these side effects persit or bother you, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.The medicine may not be suitable for everybody.
