If you miss a dose of Akio-TC Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

Can I stop taking Akio-TC Cream when my symptoms are relieved?::: No, do not stop taking Akio-TC Cream and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the skin infection is completely cured.| What precautions should be taken while using Akio-TC Cream?::: Akio-TC Cream should not be used on the face. Do not use the medication for longer periods of time than you have been advised. Do not apply a bandage or dressing to the area being treated, as this will increase absorption of the preparation and increase the risk of side-effects.This medicine should only be used by the patient and never be given to other people even if their condition appears to be the same.| What would happen if I use a higher than the recommended dose of Akio-TC Cream for long periods?::: The dosage and duration of using Akio-TC Cream should be strictly according to the doctor’s advice. It contains clobetasol which when used in higher doses and for longer periods can cause a change in the skin color, at the site of the application. Veins beneath the skin become visible because of thinning and weakening of the skin. There could be an increased hair growth. The medicine may get absorbed into the blood and can cause weight gain, high blood pressure and rounding of the face. Akio-TC Cream is a combination of four medicines: Terbinafine, Clobetasol, Ofloxacin and Ornidazole, which treats skin infections. Terbinafine is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging the DNA.:
