AL 27 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of AL 27 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. AL 27 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

If you miss a dose of AL 27 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

Is AL 27 Tablet an antibiotic?::: Yes, AL 27 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat various infections caused by worms. AL 27 Tablet should be taken only when prescribed by the doctor.| What is AL 27 Tablet used for?::: AL 27 Tablet is used for the treatment of infections caused by helminths (worms) like pin worms/thread worms, roundworms, hookworms, whip worms, liver flukes and tapeworm infections. Along with that, the medicine has shown good activity against some organisms that can survive without oxygen too, like Giardia lamblia and Trichomonas vaginalis. Please consult your doctor before taking any treatment for worms as there could be many worms against which AL 27 Tablet would not be effective.| How does AL 27 Tablet work?::: AL 27 Tablet works by killing the larva and the adult form of the worm by reducing the energy source (glucose) of the worms. This helps to decrease the mobility of the worms and they die eventually.| What is the best time to take AL 27 Tablet?::: AL 27 Tablet should be taken exactly as advised by the doctor. Do not self-medicate. However, it may be given once or twice a day depending on the condition you are being treated for. It may be taken in the morning or evening. It is usually prescribed to be taken on an empty stomach but you may be asked to take it with food for treating some conditions. AL 27 Tablet is an antiparasitic medicine, used for the treatment of parasitic worm infections. It works by killing the worms that cause infections and stops the infection from spreading. AL 27 Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.Some people may experience vomiting, dizziness, increased liver enzymes, nausea, and loss of appetite as the side effects of this medicine.
