Al Won Plus Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Al Won Plus Oral Suspension may be needed. How can I know that my child is having a worm infection?::: It could be worm infection if your child complains of an itchy bottom (rectal area), difficulty sitting, fatigue, restless sleep due to anal itching, and persistent stomach pain with loss of appetite or frequent indigestion. Another sign of worm infection is pica in which you may notice your child eating inedible substances such as mud. Speak to your child’s doctor as soon as you notice any of these in your child. Do not freeze the medicine.| When should I call my child’s doctor right away?::: Reach out to the doctor if your child complains of vision problems, puffy eyes, severe itching all over the body or experiences trouble walking or standing, trouble breathing, fast heart rate. You should also not neglect if your child feels disoriented or confused, exhibits loss of bowel control, or complains of neck pain soon after the intake of Al Won Plus Oral Suspension.:

Al Won Plus Oral Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, thereby treating your child’s infection effectively.:

Al Won Plus Oral Suspension is an anti-worm medicine given to treat a multitude of parasitic worm infestations such as roundworm and tapeworm infections in children. It works by paralyzing and restraining the worms from absorbing the body’s energy, leading to their eventual death. Give Al Won Plus Oral Suspension to your child by mouth, preferably with a fat-containing food such as milk. This will help your child’s body absorb this medicine better. In case your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking Al Won Plus Oral Suspension, give the same dose again. Do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose. The duration of the treatment will depend on the type of worm your child is infected with.Usually, it is given as a single dose. Your child’s doctor may prescribe repeating this dose after two weeks to prevent re-infection. However, some specific types of infections may require you to give this medicine to your child for a few days to weeks.
