Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Alcyp Oral Drops may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

Contact your child’s doctor immediately if your child develops serious side effects. Alcyp Oral Drops is an antihistaminic medication. It blocks the natural chemical substance (histamine) produced in the body during an allergic state and subsides (lowers) your child’s immune system’s response to these conditions. Alcyp Oral Drops also works as a hunger stimulant by stimulating the appetite center and inhibiting the satiety center, respectively. This results in an increased urge for food intake, thus increasing the total energy requirements of your child.:

Alcyp Oral Drops is usually given to children to treat a wide range of allergic symptoms like watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, hives (skin rash), and itching. It also helps stimulate appetite (hunger) in children who are dealing with chronic illnesses. Give this medicine to your child by mouth with or without food in the dose, time, and way prescribed by your child’s doctor. Give this medicine at a fixed time so that it gradually becomes a part of your child’s daily routine. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, give the same dose again. But refrain from doing so if it is already time for the next dose.Allergic symptoms may be subsided with the initial few doses of Alcyp Oral Drops but hunger stimulation may require a few weeks of continued medicine assistance. Do not abruptly stop the medicine by yourself as sudden withdrawal of the medicine may result in recurrence of symptoms and worsen your child’s condition. Therefore, it is advised to continue the treatment for the prescribed duration for maximum benefit.Your child may experience minor and temporary side effects like vomiting, nausea, dizziness, sleepiness, excessive hunger, abdominal discomfort, headache, excitement, and irritability, after the intake of this medicine.
