It does not affect the menstrual cycle and helps relieve the pain caused due to menstrual cramps.| How long should I take Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet?::: Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet is not prescribed to be taken on a regular basis. Therefore, it is advised to take Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet for the shortest possible time advised by the doctor or only when you experience menstrual pain.| Is there any harm if I drive after taking the medicine? ::: Yes, you should try to avoid driving after taking Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet as this medicine may cause dizziness or sleepiness. These side effects get worse with the consumption of alcohol. Hence, better to avoid driving or any attention-seeking activity until you know how the medicine affects you.:
Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Mefenamic Acid. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling). Together, they relieve menstrual cramps and stomach cramps.:

Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that helps to provide symptomatic relief from menstrual (period-related) pain and cramps. It is also used to treat abdominal pain by relieving spasms of the muscles in the stomach and intestines. Alispas 10mg/250mg Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on what you are using it for and how well it helps your symptoms. Use it regularly and do not discontinue using it until the doctor tells you.It may cause some common side effects like dizziness, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, nausea, diarrhea, headache, and sleepiness. If you experience any of such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.
