Description
Allerzine Syrup treats allergic and short-term common cold symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, skin rash, and itching in children. It also helps treat nausea, and vomiting caused after surgery or due to motion sickness (travel sickness). When given post-surgery, it makes your child sleepy and relaxed, helping the pain-relieving medicines work better. Give Allerzine Syrup to your child by mouth either before or after food. If your child develops stomach upset, give it preferably after food. The usual prescribed frequency is two to four times a day but may vary as per your child’s condition. For motion sickness, give Allerzine Syrup 30 to 60 minutes before travel whereas to prevent vomiting post-surgery, you may need to give it a night before the surgical procedure or just before the surgery and may need to continue it afterward as directed.If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, give the same dose again. However, never repeat the dose if the next scheduled dose is near. Your child may start to feel better within a few days of regular dosing. However, you must continue giving the medicine to your child to finish the complete prescribed course as stopping it abruptly may worsen your child’s condition.Some of the minor and temporary side effects that your child may experience while taking Allerzine Syrup include dry mouth, blurring of vision, drowsiness, dizziness, and constipation. These side effects usually subside once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. In case they persist or become bothersome for your child, consult your child’s doctor without any delay.Inform the doctor if your child has any ongoing medicine regime or history of any allergy, heart problem, blood disorder, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. Awareness of your child’s medical history will help the doctor make dose alterations and better treatment planning.
