Who should avoid taking Alsectan 24mg/26mg Tablet?::: Patients who are allergic to any of its components should avoid Alsectan 24mg/26mg Tablet. Those who are allergic to the use of ACE inhibitors or ARBs should also avoid using this medicine. It should not be used along with other antihypertensive medicines. Do not take it for at least 36 hours before or after you take an ACE inhibitor medicine. If you are not sure, consult your doctor.| What should I tell my doctor before taking Alsectan 24mg/26mg Tablet?::: Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including liver or kidney disease and a history of facial swelling (angioedema). Inform him if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Also, inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking, especially potassium supplements or medicine salt, painkillers, blood pressure, or heart failure medicines (such as ACE inhibitors, ARBs, or Aliskiren).| Can I use Alsectan 24mg/26mg Tablet in pregnancy?::: No, Alsectan 24mg/26mg Tablet should be avoided in pregnancy. Keep taking the tablets regularly, as prescribed, and try not to miss doses to get the most benefit. Do not stop taking them, even if you are feeling well. The medicine prevents future complications.Common side effects of this medicine include low blood pressure (hypotension), impaired renal function, high potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia), cough, and dizziness. To reduce the risk of dizziness that may be caused by low blood pressure, try getting up slowly from a sitting or lying position.
