Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Altrip 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:
If you miss a dose of Altrip 10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses within 12 hours.:

It works by slowing down the production of cholesterol in the body. This further decreases the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the part of the body. By lowering the levels of cholesterol and triglycerides it prevents the chances of stroke and heart attack.| Will taking Altrip 10mg Tablet lead to an increase in my risk of diabetes?::: If you are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, taking Altrip 10mg Tablet may increase this risk slightly. This is because Altrip 10mg Tablet can raise your blood sugar a little.
