Ambrodil-S Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ambrodil-S Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ambrodil-S Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.:

If you miss a dose of Ambrodil-S Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.:

What is Ambrodil-S Syrup?::: Ambrodil-S Syrup is a combination of Ambroxol and Salbutamol / Albuterol which relieve cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator which widens the airways by relaxing its muscles. Together, they make breathing easier.| Is it safe to use Ambrodil-S Syrup?::: Yes, Ambrodil-S Syrup is safe to you in most of the patients. However, in some patients it may cause some unwanted side effects like tremor, headache, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), palpitations, dizziness, nervousness, muscle cramp, increased heart rate. Inform your doctor as soon as possible if you experience any problem due to the medication.| Can Ambrodil-S Syrup cause headaches and shakiness?::: Yes, you may experience headache and shakiness with the use of Ambrodil-S Syrup. Ambrodil-S Syrup is a combination of ambroxol and salbutamol. Salbutamol may cause these side effects. For headaches, drink plenty of water, get sufficient rest and avoid alcohol. Usually headaches go away after a week. If they persist for a long time, contact your doctor. Feeling shaky is a common side effect of Ambrodil-S Syrup and goes away after sometime.| What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Ambrodil-S Syrup?::: Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in. The pack should be tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Ambrodil-S Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs making it easier to cough out. It also relaxes the muscles in your airway. Together, they make breathing easier. Ambrodil-S Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are headache, palpitations, stomach upset, tremor, muscle cramp, and Increased heart rate. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. Keep it out of reach of children. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication.
