Just apply a thin layer of Amlenox Oral Paste over the affected area in the mouth with a cotton swab.| How long does it take Amlenox Oral Paste to work?::: You can see an improvement in your ulcers within 7 days. However, your doctor will decide the exact dose and duration of your treatment depending on your condition. Follow your doctor’s instructions to get the maximum benefit of Amlenox Oral Paste. Moreover, if you do not find a considerable improvement within the prescribed duration, consult your doctor. It is important to know if your symptoms have worsened with time then stop the medication immediately and consult your doctor.| What foods are bad for mouth ulcers?::: Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods (such as crisps) which can make the pain and sting worse.| What things to be kept in mind while using Amlenox Oral Paste?::: Along with using Amlenox Oral Paste use a soft toothbrush, avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying this medicine, avoid putting dentures or braces back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth and stop smoking completely.| What causes mouth ulcers?::: There is no definite cause behind mouth ulcers. Amlenox Oral Paste is an anti-aphthous ulcer medication. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling), redness and pain due to mouth sores/ulcers. It does so by sticking to the wet surfaces of the mouth and forming a protective film over the ulcer/injured surfaces. This speeds up healing.:

Amlenox Oral Paste is used to treat mouth ulcers. It reduces inflammation (swelling), redness, pain and promotes the healing process. Amlenox Oral Paste is for external use only, so apply where it is needed in oral cavity. The best time to apply the medication is after brushing or post meals and at bedtime. It may cause temporary pain and burning at the application site. But, inform your doctor if this does not go away. If significant healing or pain relief does not occur in other 10 days than you may consult your dentist or physician again.:
