Is it safe to give Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup to children suffering from jaundice?::: It is advised not to give Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup to children if they have jaundice. The reason being, Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.| Is Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup safe for children suffering from infectious mononucleosis?::: No, it is not advised to give Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup if your child is suffering from infectious mononucleosis or even leukemia as Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup can lead to the development of skin rashes.| Can I give Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup to my child repeatedly for a long time?::: Giving your child Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup for a long term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). Moreover, irregular treatment, repeated use, and misuse of Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup can make the bacteria resistant. Therefore, do not alter the dose and duration on your own and give Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup to your child exactly as prescribed.| Are there any possible serious side effects of Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup?::: Although rare, Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup may cause some serious side effects such as skin rash, allergy, superinfection, bleeding problems, seizures, and blood cell abnormalities. In case your child develops any of these symptoms, consult the doctor at the earliest.| Can other medicines be given at the same time as Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup?::: Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. Tell your doctor about any other medicines your child is taking before starting Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup. Also, check with your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.| Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup ?::: Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.:
Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup contains two active ingredients: Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. Ampicillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. At the same time, cloxacillin works toward increasing the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. Together, these two medicines not only kill the infection-causing bacteria but also arrest the spread of the infection.:

Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup contains two active antibiotics that are effective against a multitude of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also effectively treat infections caused by resistant bacteria. Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup works best on an empty stomach, so try to give it to your child 30 minutes to 1 hour before they eat. However, give it with food if it upsets your child’s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose.Ampilox C 125mg/125mg Syrup can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects almost always go away on their own.
