Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet is recommended.:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.:

Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.:

The reason being, Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.| Is Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet safe for children suffering from infectious mononucleosis?::: No, it is not advised to give Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet if your child is suffering from infectious mononucleosis or even leukemia as Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet can lead to the development of skin rashes.| Can I give Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet to my child repeatedly for a long time?::: Giving your child Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet for a long term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). In case your child develops any of these symptoms, consult the doctor at the earliest.| Can other medicines be given at the same time as Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet?::: Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. Also, check with your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.| Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet?::: Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.:

Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet contains two active ingredients: Ampicillin and Dicloxacillin. Ampicillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Dicloxacillin increases the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. Together, these two medicines not only kill the infection-causing bacteria but also arrest the spread of the infection.:

Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that is effective against a multitude of bacterial infections affecting ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It may also be effective in treating infections that are caused by resistant bacteria. Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet works best on an empty stomach, so try to give it to your child 30 minutes to 1 hour before they eat. However, give it with food if it upsets your child’s stomach. It is generally given three times a day. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend on the severity of the infection, its type, and your child’s body weight and age. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. However, do not double the dose if it is the time for the next dose.Ampilox Kid 125 mg/125 mg Tablet can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects almost always go away on their own.
