Diclofenac diethylamine and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil decreases swelling through its anti-inflammatory properties. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the skin.
